Boekenrank is a flexible shelving system that can be playfully rearranged to grow with its owner and their evolving desires.

This shelving system results from exploring how standardized materials can be an integral part of a design object. The goal is to encourage modification by the user throughout its lifecycle, so that it keeps up with changing needs and environments.

The plank(s) are sourced at a local hardware store, lumber yard, shed or dumpster, while the frame slides through the letterbox.
